Vintage Gillette ID?

Does anyone know the correct model designation and date?' I am guessing it is a NEW LC or English Flat Botton NEW LC?. There are no corner tabs on the top cap and I am not sure if the handle is correct for the head. The handle is about the same size as a Fatip Piccolo. It is a smooth shaver on par with the Tech and perhaps a tad more efficient. Female threading on the handle is good; teeth appear straight but there is some brassing and the handle has clearly lost its lustre, regardless, I like the way it shaves. As I continue to travel thru vintage Gillettes, the quality of shave and manufacture really stand out clearly there was a golden period for DE razors.

Looks good to me ...

British New - they were all long comb and towards the end of the run, caps didn't have corner tabs. That handle is quite correct for the British New and often seen in the later models. It all adds up. Late in the game, the top caps often had short pins which were either central or on the bias. We had quite a discussion about that little detail: https://www.theshavingroom.co.uk/community/threads/gillette-new-biased-pin-short-pin-why.52417/ ... on both of mine shown in this thread you can see no corner tabs on the top caps and while not pictured, both of those razor have this very handle.

In short, you've got a nice example of a late British New.
