Vintage Gillette ID help

Can anyone help, I have a DE Gillette with the butterfly opening. Made of steel by the weight and feel. Stamped with 'Brit pat no 0430030', 'Gillette' in a diamond and 'MadeInEngland'.
It came in a chromed metal box with blue/puple velvet lining that is printed in silver with Gillette Made in England.
It's 3 1/4inch top to bottom.

Is it an open comb type. ?

If yes it sounds like an aristocrat

Well its made of brass and then nickel/gold or rhodium plated depending on the model. really need a pic or a better desiption of the handle, why not check mr razors site and id it for yourself

Thanks for the tip about Mr Razor. The picture on there and Pat number match a 1948 Aristocrat no.16. The Rhodium plating has taken a bit of a kicking on the head but it's still nice and neat.
