I see I have the option to change my username.
If I do this will it wipe out all my post counts etc?

I'd quite like to change my username. I thought it was amusing when I was a fan of Top Gear in my twenties. Not so much now in my forties.
Need to think of a suitable moniker.

If I change my username how will people know what my old username was? Would I mention it in my signature (won't be visible to mobile phone users)
