My shaves with my Merkur HD & Gillette OLd open comb have gone from very good to excellent since I started using Gillette Super Thins. To me they hold there own against Feathers, Iridiums, Astra's ......for performance. For price, they are out of sight.

Well they were quite pricey at 6 Sing per 100 blades. After moaning and groaning in T'Yorkshire for a while they broke down and sold them for 5 Sing$ p/100 = Stg 2.18 ( i don't have a quid sign )
