What a complete numpty, look at me I'm being filmed!!!Anyone watch the tour de France yesterday?
A spectator with a sign took out half the race, absolutely mental.
The organisers are going to sue the spectator...assuming they can find her...link
Located, and in custody. Sounds like the French aren't going to go easy on someone who screws up La Grand Boucle!Completely agree and they are now looking for her to prosecute- let’s hope they find her

It was tres impressive. On a more positive note I thought Mark Cavendish’s win yesterday was an incredible feat considering all the health issues he’s suffered over the past 2 or 3 years. It must take incredible mental strength to come back from where he was, especially at his age, astonishing really.
@NeilJ , My gob was well and truly smacked when I saw him crossing the line. And the reaction afterwards was so emotional. Only called up to the Tour team a couple of weeks as a substitute and being paid relative peanuts - unbelievable. There seem to be far too many spectators too keen to see themselves on the telly than watch the actual event.

I hope he breaks the record for stage wins!@NeilJ , My gob was well and truly smacked when I saw him crossing the line. And the reaction afterwards was so emotional. Only called up to the Tour team a couple of weeks as a substitute and being paid relative peanuts - unbelievable.
3 more to equal Merckx I think? There's a few sprint stages to go I think, but I think it's too much of an ask (unless he's back in the saddle again next yearI hope he breaks the record for stage wins!
Setting aside the doping, Armstrong sat at 33 stage wins before his results were expunged. I'm not one for sports books normally, but The Secret Race is a brilliant read.......and Lance Armstrong giggled.
