I'm also a member of TSD and when I log in there I get a page up showing all the latest posts on any subject. Also if I hover the mouse over a subject it brings up the first paragraph of the post. Can this site do that? If so, how?

You should have a 'view new posts' button to press somewhere on your screen. I can't say exactly where as I changed the way I view TSR on the control panel. Mine is top right hand corner. Hopefully Boab will respond about the other question too.

yes there is a 'view new posts' link top left of the index page on the default theme.It will display all new posts since your last visit.It wont show you a paragraph on each but if you click the little icon next to the title it will take you to your first unread post in each topic.
