Im thinking about buying this

In your opinions would I be wasting my money?

I have tried expensive balms before and from my own experience they are much better than Boots/Nivea and the like.

My neck has been killing me recently and I fancy going for this.

If you want soothing, you can't go wrong with this:

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.mankind.co.uk/Lab-Series-for-Men-Razor-Burn-Relief-Ultra-100ml-PRODLAPS6/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mankind.co.uk/Lab-Series-for ... PRODLAPS6/</a><!-- m -->

Had it for over 6 months and still have about 3 quarters left.

Lol check out the ingredients on that page under the 'ingredients' tab. Contains coffee, Oats!, Betula Sap froma tree, Sea Whip Extract!! What the hell is that? OK. just googled it: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cosmeticscop.com/dictionary_term.aspx?tid=1925&lid=532&term=sea+whip+extract" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.cosmeticscop.com/dictionary_ ... ip+extract</a><!-- m -->

OMG. Now I know why it costs so much. Divers don't come cheap these days lol.

And the Porridge stuff: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cosmeticscop.com/dictionary_term.aspx?tid=857&lid=492&term=Avena+sativa" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.cosmeticscop.com/dictionary_ ... ena+sativa</a><!-- m -->

Sap: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/cosmetics/cosing/index.cfm?fuseaction=search.details&id=54753" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/cosmetic ... s&id=54753</a><!-- m -->

I got it on fleabay for a tenner. Boots has it on 3for2 at the mo, I think. £50 for 3 balms is too much though!

Ive gone for the anthony stuff, Used some of my slush fund.

Had some anthony gear before, I think it was their astringent toner. Fantastic stuff so it was.

Anthony Logistics products are pretty good. Let us know how you find it.

Also, the Lab Series Razor Burn Relief contains Cholesterol. What a crazy ingredient! So you get a calmed face but then a heart attack!

I just had to look it up: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cosmeticscop.com/dictionary_term.aspx?tid=1040&lid=500&term=cholesterol" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.cosmeticscop.com/dictionary_ ... holesterol</a><!-- m -->

Yeah, with all that benzocain in it, it better be soothing -- numbing more like. Other than that, I can't think of any formula that would _significantly_ beat something like nivea. Consider it a very expensive benzocain ointment...

Cholesterol in a skin cosmetic is primarily an emulsifier, and also has some emollient effect.
