Thanksgiving

I thought Thanksgiving was the last Thursday in November ? :ugeek:

Not in the Great White North, eh.

Email from my sister the other evening listing the pies she was making for Sunday dinner. Good thing I live over here, where "Turkey Day" is any day you have to deal directly with corporate middle management... and thanksgiving is a way to mark those workdays on which one doesn't.

All I can say which is pretty interesting is in America we have these kinds of perfect ideas of Turkey/stuffing/gravy/salad/mashed potatoes/nice wine for the adults n juice for the kids..desserts..various homemade pies usually with a side of warm marshmallow fluff!..lol..dont ask about the people showing up with kids and the pets in the house

In the Southern States like Alabama and Southern States..its more about Frying them in a big pot outdoors
