Chaps,
a couple of weeks ago my father was taken into hospital with jaundice. At that stage the doctors suspected a blocked bile duct, all pretty curable, but then came the bombshell - the biposy came back showing advanced cancer of the liver. In the last few days his health has nosedived, so much so that the registrar has advised us that he has days, rather than weeks left. There is a lot I have to do over the remaining few days so I'm going to sign off for a while. Although I haven't met anyone here in person I still consider many of you friends. I'll miss the cameraderie and the crack of The Shaving Room, but family comes first. I'll be back in a while
