Summer Shaving Cream/Croap

I have been meaning to switch a Citrus cream for summer. I have now broken out the Don Marco cream from RazoRock. I was intending on using TGS The Goodfellas' Smile Royal Lime Shaving Croap.

What are you using during this hot weather?

Not using it all the time, but it gets used regularly now it's getting hot, TOBS peppermint. I really enjoy it in the warm weather.

Great idea for a thread this, would love to hear some suggestions of the best soaps/creams for the heat.

I like the look of the Fitjar Folgefonn cream. The downside is the price!!

Of the creams I’ve used TOBS Eton College and Castle Forbes Lime are very nice citrusy scents. T&H 1805 is also a nice summer scent although from memory I don’t think it was very citrus forward.

It’s nowhere near hot where I reside but I do like to use plain old Proraso cream in summer.

Large tube of Prorasso Green, comes out every year for a few days, sometimes a few weeks. Used it last month but the sun's been hiding in my neck of the woods during August.

This summer I'm using this frankensoap DrKΩ.
A mix 3:1 of Omega V1 Tube and Dr K Soap Company Peppermint.

Another frankensoap I like is Mojito by Proraso.
A mix 1:1 Proraso White and Proraso Green.

Both are easy, DIY, cheap and very effective.

I prefer simple peppermint nowadays to menthol. I have a smashing artisinal soap from BeeClean which fits the bill just right. That, and Omega Shaving Soap which loses its potency quite quickly and so is a nice cooling waft rather than face-freezer.

I’ve been using Proraso green and enjoying the eucalyptus and menthol it has.

Also Vitos green. There really is nothing summer about it. But I do add some menthol drops to the mug before I lather it up and shave.

I know Vitos has that sweet Almaretto scent. But it went scent less in two weeks after I cut a chunk off and put it in my old spice mug. So I’ll have no problem using it year round now.
