I have been reading on other forums about EJ DE89s breaking when being dropped and poor quality control of Merkurs.
I've read that these razors are made of nickel (+/- alloys) and that these wont last forever, unlike the stainless steel ones.
So, my question is: what are modern razors made of, what were the vintage ones made of and will our modern ones last and be sturdy or do we need to buy stainless steel ones, like the Feather,Ikon or Weber?
Actually, that's 3 questions but you get my drift...!
Answers gratefully received and here's hoping they don't inflame the ol' RAD any further.....
