Nice shave, learning curve coming along, worked the chin area with no cuts but was definitly awkward. Overall the shave went well, a couple of weepers. Finished touch-ups with the VB Chieftan ODIN loaded with a VB Cayanne Hot, way aggressive, uncomfortalble, that bade got transfered to an adjustable (VB Emperor AUGUSTUS). Going with a Gillette 7 o'clock black to see how that does.

Razor Thiers Issard 69 Frameback
A much better performance from this razor after putting it through the full diamond pasted balsa progression from a LaLune edge. After stroping on the Kanayama, buttery smoothness is felt for the 3 passes resulting in a bbs-dfs finish without any issues...superb!!

Razor Wade & Butcher 13/16 Wedge
This razor's edge has not been as satisfying even after going through the LaLune twice. So, I decided to put this wedge through the full diamond pasted balsa progression...without the tape (the razor was honed with tape). The TTT was not bad but HHT was not so good, however, the shave was surprisingly better. 3 smooth and comfortable passes for a bbs-ccs finish...

10/8 Full Artrazor Pegasus today. Another Simpsons cream. Very nice smell -- much nicer than my other lime one. Touched up the razor on the translucent Ark, and used my new home made strop ( I *swear* it brings my edges to another level! ). You can hear it sing as it pings the top of the arm hair, it's a LOUD razor

So I used that new boar brush to build the lather, but really, I was very underwelved with the lather... given I was *also* underwhelmed with the lather of the other Cafe Latte cream I thought perhaps it's not the cream at all; so switched to a trusted badger brush and *boom* very nice, super creamy lather!
So I'm not sure about this new boar brush -- perhaps it needs 'breaking in' or something, but it's not performing for me so far...
