Do check Seth's (His son) blades, he makes some, occasionally -- and you can one like the one I posted for less than a machine made Dovo! They are made in the same forge, and Drew checks all of them so really, they are just as good, just less fancy (and cheaper!)

Glad to see a bit more SR action going on here.
You've inspired me to get one of mine out again. Seems I'm a little out of practice, having had too little time for the last few months and reverting to DE or SE for speed. I got a decent enough result in the end but not without effort and the occasional nick. The change in the weather made the choice of soap and splash easy, my favourite shave set ever, such a shame it's disco'd.
Baurmann 5/8 extra hollow
Semogue 820 boar
Wickham Gothic Revival soap, balm and splash.

Keeping it classic today.
Truefitt and Hill luxury soap, Simpson Commodore best badger X3, Fritz Bracht Tennis 5/8 extra hollow, smoothing off with a drop of Bio oil and a splash of Tabac AS. A top-up of Tabac EdC finishing the shave.
Frustratingly another nick, which means either my edges need some love or I just need to use these more often. I'll bet on the latter as I was getting better results a while back.
