Straight Razor Shave of the Day

Razor Friedr Herder Abr. Sohn 77
Somehow...just 1 minor change and the past few SR shaves are just getting better. Today is the best so far. This razor's edge feels really sweet...buttery smooth in 3passes for a mixed bbs/dfs & ccs/sas finish. It's definitely my technique to be improved.

Some of my best shaves are from this razor paired with this blade..wow! 3 silky smooth and efficient passes...the only time with a "straight" that I managed a bbs...

Razor Red Imp 132
Today's razor edge after balsa/Kanayama strops feels really nice...keen and smooth in 3passes without any issues for improving dfs-ccs-sas results.

Razor Gold Dollar 208
Today's razor, after putting it through the full-pasted balsa progression was really keen...maybe too keen, but still smooth enough though for 3passes without any issues for a mixed result...

Razor Wade & Butcher 7/8 "Steamship" Wedge
A wonderfully enjoyable shave with this razor too...easy, smooth, and very comfortable. It is becoming clearer I prefer a heavier grind. 3passes for a ccs/sas finish without any issues.

After posting my shave with the Koraat in the normal SotD yesterday I thought I had better return to correct procedure and contribute here. Today's shave was with the Baurmann extra hollow. A big floppy Phantom Aerolite full of the wonderful Saponificio Varesino gave a great slick lather suitably hydrated. The Dolomiti scent isn't what I would normally choose but it is a clean refreshing scent ideal for warm weather.
Bio oil and Benjamin's to cool and smooth off with afterwards.

Missed using this Kamisori because the edge was somehow dulled by my misadventure trying to touch up with the LaLune but after my 3rd attempt...it became better and after putting it through the full pasted balsa progression...wow!! Popping hairs easily. 3passes for a ccs-sas finish. Not bad for a workday rush shave...
