I just discovered this one:

Made by Floris for Spencer Hart and part of Floris' private collection, "this bespoke blend is a reconstruction of a classical Floris fragrance from the 1950s". Interesting, anyone know which classical Floris fragrance they are referring to? Anyone here that has taken a whiff of it? Impressions? Not cheap though at £120 per bottle...

I'm not planning on buying this one anytime soon or even before I sampled it myself since I just started using their brilliant Santal EDT, just curious.

Be interesting to know if it recreates the legendary original No 89. Which would certainly have been one of the "classic" scents of the fifties. Surely one of our members has this wee bit of esoteric knowledge.
