SOTD 12th June 2020
Razor - Karve #B
Brush - Shavemac 30mm Silvertip
A wonderfully smooth and close shave was had using this marvel of a razor from Karve, fitted out with the "B" plate and a Feather blade it left me with perfectly smooth skin free of nicks or irritation.
Perfectly shaven and smelling wonderful in honour of my mothers 85th birthday today, such a shame I can not be in Kent to calibrate it with her but I'm sure she will have a great day regardless
Untill the next time.......stay safe and keep well.
Paul.

I've been in contact with my mum and she had a lovely birthday and loving being 85 years old! She looks a lot younger and is as fit as a fiddle! Is your brush handle carbon fibre? It looks like it is from your picture?
Sorry to read your not able to get to your Mum for her 85th Birthday.
I love the look of the flatter head brush from shavemac. Possibly more practical than a bulb shaped head as you get more brush in contact with your face. I've also got my eye open for a used Karve SS.
_______________________________________________________Pre - Shower / Face wash
Cream - TOBS Mr Taylor
Brush - New Forest Badger
Razor - MÜHLE R89
Blade - Wilkinson (3)
Post - Alum followed by Skin Food then moisturiser with SPF (over kill?)
A rather rushed shave today, still a very comfortable three pass shave. After using a synthetic brush for a few days, I'm convinced I prefer the experience of a real badger brush.
