SOTD Saturday 6th December to Friday 12th December

Pre: Village Barber oil
Soap: Penhaligon's "Blenheim Bouquet" (old tallow formula)
Brush: Rubberset-400 replica with 26mm TGN Finest 2-band
Razor: Ikon DLC slant w/Bulldog handle
Blade: NOS Gillette "Spoiler" SS (6)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel, Penhaligon's Opus 1870 ASB/EdT
Another brilliant shave from this slant. I never got this type of shave from the Shavecraft-102, I'm so happy I bought this one.

Razor: Feather AC DX
Blade: Feather Professional blade
Brush: Edwin Jagger in Best
Soap: Knize Ten
Aftershave: D R Harris Pink
Tache: Marke Golddachs Ungarische Bartwichse
EDT: Czech & Speake #88

I never thought I'd see the day. Welcome back brother Vinnie, welcome back! *offers hug and wipes tear from eye*

I shall be watching with interest to see your EDT choices. Czech and Speake, very nice indeed.

Hot shower
DuX Boar brush
Eucris soap
Gillette Fatboy Executive (6)
Personna Blue (2)
Cien ASB
Aquatonic AS

Followed pjgh's tips with the Eucris. It definitely prefers my boar to my badger. The Eucris might end up becoming my shower soap, but only because I like the smell so much and I have lots of other soap to try.

Brush: Simpsons Duke 3 in best
Soap: Jabonman Sierra
Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Kai Mild (x3)
ASB: Myrsol Emulsion

I think I need to re-appraise these blades – I'm getting great shaves out of these, originally I thought they were not sharp enough

Cold water splash
Wickham Southsea Spray
Simpson P8 in Super
ATT M2 Kronos
Gillette 7 O'Clock Black (2)
Myrsol Emulsion

First use of my newly acquired Polo 8 Super after having gone through a shampoo, conditioning and thorough rinse. It bowl lathered an abundant amount of Wickham SS, probably enough for 6 passes (although I stopped after 3)! I am curious now to see how it will perform with soaps.

Bulldog Face Wash/Scrub
Rolls Razor Shaving Stick
Kent Infinity Silvertex
Jaguar Orca & Jaguar JT1/JT3 [1]
Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse & Alum Wash
Alt Innsbruck Eau de Cologne

Face Lathered
Two Pass - WTG (Diagonal Slice) & WTG

Wow! That vintage Rolls Razor soap is a lather bomb! No, seriously, I was very glad to have a straight edge razor to slice through all the lather. Old-fashioned scent, like old cotton sheets hand washed and hanging in the wind.

The Jaguar Orca razor is THE easiest shavette I have used to date. Using long blades, flexible like the Feather Artist Club blades, perhaps a touch longer it was a very straightforward and satisfying experience, proven by the alum wash.

Lovely shave!
