Hi, if you have tried other sv soaps how does Cosmo compare? Many thanks
I really have to comment on the Zenith brush. With it's first run (without breaking in period), it became my favourite brush! Outrun my beloved Omega pros, Semogue SOC badger, Stirling badger and a bunch of synthetics
Just a great face feel (that - for me - only boar can provide), dense, but with good flowthrough, ideal knot (28x57mm) for facelather.

ER Natural Angle/ Gem S/S- shave aborted

Tuff Green A/S Lotion
After a somewhat disappointing Shave with an ER 1924 yesterday, I decided to try the blade out again but this time in an ER Natural Angle. After a few strokes was obviously not working and the blade was a dud so I stopped further use with it.
As an alternative I decided on a DE Shave , which I have rarely use since I got involved with Vintage SE/Injectors and more latterly AC/SE Razors. I personally find DE Razors a lot less forgiving of user error than the other types , and also get Shaves as good if not better with other types too. However, by using a low setting and not rushing I was very pleased with the finished Shave, which was fault free and nice and close all round. I did feel the need for an application of Alum to soothe the skin.
I will make sure I keep my hand in with my DE Razors, but will not be tempted by any of the good looking S/S models currently in favour, will confine myself to putting likes on SOTD reports showing them.

Hi Paul. It's always good to keep your hand in even if it's only once a week a little variety is goodP.
Hi Paul.
You are much better at rotation discipline than me, you constantly are ringing the changes.I really seem to have
lost my liking for DE Shaves, but will try a bit harder. Funnily enough I quite fancy the Black Rocca so I can use the black handle with the Alu. General head.
A weekend off for a change, but some Athletics to watch on TV. Hope your weekend is good.
Mike
