A first class shave with a first class razor. Possibly the best DE I have ever had the fortune to use.

First time with this soap and I must say that you cant beat a bit of Bison Tallow. Lovely scent with superb slickness.

The brush is big in the hand but extremely ergonomic and the knot is super soft with a decent amount of backbone.

Finished with a touch of the marvellous BBA balm and a splash of Ferrari.

An almond shave - reunited with Figaro after 3 years. A great performing soap (or is it a cream?) from Italy. Always struggled with Cella. This lathers lovely, and has a great scent.

Razor - Schick Type E
Blade - brand new Chick
Soap - Figaro
Brush- Vulfix 404
Balm - Arko Fresh - no idea why on a cold snowy morning - an icy blast of menthol normally reserved for the summer months

A good enough shave from this blade on the final use, a better blade than I expected, I prefer every other Supermax blade I have used but this is a perfectly acceptable blade to use in a pinch. I enjoy using this razor, I should use it more often. Superb scent and perfomance with the soap, whoever would have thought of mentholated banana and coconut in a soap (I know AYLM ).​

The one thing I originally didn't like about this soap was the smaller bowl which made it awkward to load the brush. But now the larger bowl has changed my opinion. It's still the same glycerine formula, has a nice 'barbershop' scent and is cheap as chips.
BTW, the shave was great, happy days!

On my first outing with the F had obviously messed up on loading the blade,thankfully now that is sorted things are good.

Tried it out on a cream today, the Cade is quite thick and gloopy so frequent rinsing was required. The Razor is so smooth and easy to use, and yet delivers an ultra close Shave, other Schicks may be as smooth but they do not deliver such good shaves.
