Scent: YSL Rive Gauche

Very comfortable shave. Two passes, then a couple of clean-up buffs for a DFS+ result. Dr Dittmar soap produces a very good lather; it doesn't feel quite as slick as some other soaps, but it seems to allow very close yet comfortable blade contact, resulting is excellent efficiency. Also feels terrific on the face and post shave.

My first use of the Evolution impressed me. Its aggressiveness is equivalent to that of my Weber razor heads, and it gave me an easy BBS shave. The first use of the CL aftershave had more mixed reviews: it was soothing, but I'm not sure if I like its fragrance. My wife really likes it, saying it has a sort of lime tone (probably due to the vetiver and cypress).

Pre-shave: Warm shower, Kiehl's Ultra Face Cleanser, followed by cold water splash.
Cream: Kiehl's Lite Flite Shave Cream.
Brush: Shavemac ' The Flat Top' Slivertip.
Bowl: Giles Shaving Co - Spotty Pedstal Wet Shaving Bowl.
Razor: Blackland Vector.
Blade: Kai Captain (Pink) Mild (4).
Post: Cold water, Ibiza Aloe - Aloe Vera gel and Musgo Real Cologne No. 4 - Lavender.

A 2 pass shave DFS+ finish, with no issues to report - WTG and XTG face and WYG and ATG neck.

Despite the modifications to the bottom plate the ATT SE-G is still very mild.I now can get it to deliver a smooth and comfortable Shave, though it takes bit longer than normal. A finished Shave is passable but not ultra close , and does not last well in the day.
