The Gentleman's Groom Room Highland Bothy
RazoRock BC Silvertip 24mm
Face lather
RazoRock Black Hawk V.2
Schick Proline P
Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
Trumper's Eucris EdT

A light razor. I do find that holding the handle a bit more firmly yields better results; because a lighter touch means I have to work a bit harder to get smooth results. The vetiver and oak moss in the soap accords well with the spicy, woodsy notes of the Eucris.

DFS. All's good.

@Wayne Pritchard - that Aristocrat is absolutely stunning, and your photograph adroitly captures its beauty. My oh my - I am searching for something similar with a J4 code.

Warm shower
face prep: Executive shaving pre shave oil
Razor: Gillette slim (7)
Blade: Personna Platinum (4)
Brush: Simpsons Colonel X2L face lather
Shave soap: MWF
Warm rinse, then cold rinse with alum
Post shave: Witch hazel then myrsol emulsion
Cologne: Castle Forbes 1445
What a great shave, very smooth and clean with no irritation. Face felt great soft and smooth. I normally change blade after 3 shaves, took a risk and kept it in for fourth shave and I'm glad I did great result. This is my third use of Slim on Setting 7, I do enjoy using my Vintage Gillette Slim very rewarding results.

Im still very much learning with razor and blade combinations, really enjoying the whole DE shaving experience.

Have a nice day B.
