Soap - Vitos Red
Brush - Omega 80265
Razor - Aluminium Tech
Blade - Gillette Platinum (1)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - Nivea Cooling
AS - Superdrug Forest Fresh
First shave with the new Gillette Platinum, the one in the new box (blue writing on white coloured box) and I'm fairly sure it's the same blade as the old box blade (white writing on blue coloured box). It's a very smooth blade possibly the smoothest of the PPI blades I have tried but it might not be the sharpest; I could see it working better in a razor with a bit more bite than the razor I used. It was probably as smooth as the Vosk I used yesterday, but I'd say the Vosk was a touch more efficient in the same razor.
A slightly better lather with the 80265, but it's still not quite what it was before I cleaned it with vinegar. Not sure why it stopped being as good a brush as it was after I cleaned it.
Thanks Tony"Soap is alkaline and vinegar is acidic. Combined, they neutralize each other. Vinegar reverts the soap to its original oils. Soap cancels vinegar's ability to cut through scum."
I would wash your brush out thourghly with a shampoo or similar.
It may take a while to get all the acid out of it.

Used one of the NOS British Made Wilkinson Sword Blades that @Paul L very kindly sent me, Smooth and Very Sharp in the Dart. Thanks Paul yet another top blade you have introduced me too.
