I have the original iKon SE and the MR-SE, they are basically the same except the original version had an issue where the head did not clamp correctly unless you watched what you were doing. When the head was not clamped correctly it shaved poorly but not dangerously, which I guess is why they sold off the original El Jefe version cheaply. They both shave great, however currently my favourite AC SE is the Blackland Vector, but the MR-SE and the Colonial General in brass and pretty much on par with each other and are a close second to the Vector. They all have a small enough head profile to get under the nose and all shave smoothly with most SE blades. I have been using a Feather Pro Super blade lately which was a tad too much in the ATT SE1 and almost that way in the iKon MR-SE.
I highly recommend the iKon SE razors, they are are well made even if they are not stainless steel and only an aluminium alloy.
If you have never tried an AC type SE I can also recommend the Razorock Hawk, a great way to try this type of razor and the price is great. I have only tried the original version the Hawk, but from what I have read the newer version is an improvement.
