The addition of a S/S Handle makes the 1924 look very modern, but for me makes it a splendid Razor. Provided that it is treated with respect and the Shave not rushed, it can be used with a light touch and produce an ultra close Shave with no need for alum. I have used the Sabre L1 & ATT SE-G and neither of those produce a Shave as good as the 1924 , in fact shaves I have had with them have been disappointing.
