Might be more fun???STOD? It's a damn good job we never ended up with STD of the day
Thank You Wayne..I Mute the Point but it Takes nothing Away from the Square Point Design...They are More Accurate on the Face So Ta Speak...Credit where credit is due. That is a stunning razor you have there Billy. Beautiful scales and the silver work is top of the tree. I am yet to use a square point but that is my next step.
You really need to use a Twin Blade to get the best out of the Adjustable. It was designed for use with Twins.Schick adjustable shave:
For the last week, I have been experimenting with the Schick adjustable courtesy of the lending pool. I love the long handle. I normally use a shorter handled razor. To be honest I'm struggling to zone in with this razor. Have tried low settings and built up, but couldn't get a close shave. So tried higher, and went higher again, and had a really rough shave. Guessing its a technique thing. Will go to about 7 and lower for the second pass. Plus I don't use/own any adjustables so that may be a factor too.
- Schick M adjustable
- Chick (4)
- Truefitt & Hill Almond cream
- Vulfix 404
- Post - Proraso white
Having said that, it's a great piece of engineering. As always, I'm grateful for pass rounds, & I will perceiver!

Greetings,
A relaxing Sunday 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.
'Williams Mug Shaving Soap' i now call 'Williams Mug Sunday Shaving Soap', i've been swooned by this soap since i've started to give it some attention, by adding it more frequently to my SOTD set ups...I know it's another love, detest & hate YMMV soap, but i get really good results from this classic humble soap, i find it's slickness & post shave feeling amazingly good.
Another vintage shave with my E-R 1912 , which was my first introduction to the wonderful world of vintage E-R SE razors, kindly gifted to me by @patw of which i'm eternally grateful for.
Every shave that i've had with this vintage lady has been a silky smooth comfortable, irritation free one, today was no exception. The E-R 1912 (U.S.A.) is less aggressive than the 1914, but just as smooth and comfortable.
I'm fond of all my vintage E-R SE ladies, but this is my favourite, purely because it was my first, and every shave i've had from this vintage lady to date has been a pleasurable experience..The audio feedback from these vintage ladies is amazing!..' It's Like scraping a knife over hot buttered toast'..Amazing.
Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of L'0REAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.
My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.
Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.
