I really enjoyed today`s Shave with this Razor, which is one of the few short handled ones that take a Twin Blade. It was a pleasant change from the longer handled ones I have recently been using , and the quality of finish attained very similar. Would really like the rather rare black handled one [ not the Hydramatic].

I'd been using Arko for a few days now, with today being the first day I'd used it with a boar brush and from my experiences I get a much better lather with the soap when I use it with a synth, not entirely sure why but it seems slicker with a synth rather than boar, or maybe I need to load more soap? Another good shave with this new blade though, I'm impressed.

Terrific lather from Arko cream. Nice pleasant scent...thickly creamy and slick. Nice brush for lathering.
Shave with razor paired with blade was interesting. Was smooth but not so comfortable this time. Felt a little like scraping. No weepers but the neck spotted red irritated areas. 3+1 multiple passes with quite a close shave. Icy water rinse followed by cooling Thayers was great. Hyaluronic soothed and AV Musk burns some. Rating 9/10

Balm - Barts Unscented

I really like Baume.be cream , so thought I would try the soap , I got a good layer from the soap but it just didn't last, in fairness our water here is hard. Had to switch to S.V. tundra Artica to complete the shave.
