Brilliant 3 pass shave tonight,
a bit of a late one but no time in the morning as i’m of to Norway.
Well o could get up earlier you might add lol but that ain’t happening.
This soap has a wonderful barbershop scent & quite similar to Hygge by Mammoth Soaps.
Quite an underrated soap i would say as it’s not one you see here often.
The blade is a bit of a hit or miss,
not really that good but not shect either but once they are done they are done i won’t get them again like so many others.
I don’t know why but i love this 2 phase.
i really need to try some of the Gillette Splashes.

Missed using this soap. Wow...what a memorable scent...together with the matching balm...was able to enjoy the scent for longer The lather is just perfect...Enjoy the shave with this razor, comfy and crisp. Managed 3passes for a sas finish with 2 micro red spots...

I forgot how good the Sainsbury's luxury soap was as a pre shave, i found half a bar when i was looking for a bar of pears, a lovely pre shave wash.
A nice 2 pass, cold water shave, just what was needed.

Excellent shave this morning, upped the Frost drops and ended up with a nice cooling effect, not tear inducing by any means, just pleasant. Only put a drop in the AS as it obviously doesn't have the added complication of adding more and more water when I inevitably overload the brush, but I think it could probably go up another couple.

Refreshed, smooth and ready for the day ahead!

Summertime Blues

Last shave from this Gillette Silver Blue (4) and I probably should've binned it at 3, but I like these blades. Another late night shave with the Slim on #5, and the LEA providing good performance. I had enough for another 3 passes probably, with the Phantom Aerolite. Benjamin's menthol Bay Rum on the hottest day on record (I assume).

Glad it's a bit cooler now!

Cold water shave with a blue theme to match the blue tip. A fantastic shave from my second favourite razor. I'm loving the Proraso Blue as well, shame they don't make an aftershave in the same scent to match the balm and pre-shave. It's quite a bit cooler today in't North but still enjoying cold water shaving.

A super cold water two pass shave this morning. An excellent lather and a really close and comfortable shave with the Ikon. The DLC coating really seems to improve the glide of the razor, and this was very noticeable this morning. DFS.
