Been feeling in the Christmas spirit the last couple of days, so I thought I would make time to do a SOTD photo to share.

Whipped up an abundant amount of lather in the bowl tonight with the Custom 400 boar. I am getting a lot of enjoyment from using this, it's such a quality brush in so many ways. Two great comfortable passes. Super Smooth as always, providing an effortless shave. All finished off with an unusual scent from Floris, which I'm also enjoying a lot of lately.

On the menu tomorrow Huntlees Sweet Tobacco.

Very, very nice first shave with this lovely razor bought from Erwin on the BST. The Apollo may not be very pretty but it is a lovely shaver. I have recently tried a no-name double headed slant from Solingen, probably the Lutz and the choices there are very aggressive and insanely aggressive, so this made a nice change. First impressions of the Apollo is that it's a keeper.

Cologne: Richard James Lavender.

Aaaah! So much better than the Lord shaves which were just a bit on the rough side for me. This was smooth and very close. Aaaah!

It's smelling like xmas is here already. The Super Smooth soap is a work of art, performance is on par with Palmolive stick, scent is spot on Old Spice.
