Soap or cream

A question to Open Razor shavers Soap or cream which is going to give the best shave ?? or is the dreaded YMMV rule going to kick in.

Gentlemen your opinions please.

Makes no difference to me. I find it just as difficult with both!

Soap, more often than not, but I'd far rather use a good cream than a poor soap. Actually, the frontrunners for me are soft soaps, neither one thing nor the t'other some might say.

Depends on maker really. Truth be told I've two favourite artisans who make both soap and creams and I can't really choose between one or the other because they're both good. But if I really have to choose and since I'm a soap guy then definitely soap.

Soft soaps are great too. My favourites Figaro and Fitness. Both have exactly same ingredients my friend.
