slippy handle on a EJ 89?

i have the DE87 which is the black/ivory handled ones (the metal is the DE89 and the lined is DE89L)

no problems with grip whatsoever and I shave inside the shower!

I know its late but i just read that as:

Just thought I would weigh-in in case anyone else is wondering about the grip situation in future. I have recently acquired an EJ DE89BL (smooth chrome grip), and although this is my first razor, I have to say it has so far been wonderful and no grip issues whatsoever, even with all the soap and water flying about. The razor came with Derbys which definitely cut hair, but I am waiting on a sample pack from Connaught so I can really find out what this little beauty can do
