I tried this and absolutely ruined a omega 48 lol could have cut myself with the bristles after I finished with it.Could you just trim the knot untill you had the loft you was happy with? Are there problems with doing this ? Just a thought.
I think you are right.I have read that if bristle is trimmed it will not split but I have never actually tried it.
This looks a killer for soap sticks and face lathering. Love to hear how long it takes to split/break in. Please let us know?...ordered and also looking forward to this 'stubby beast'...

Now, Paul, I'm a sucker for a turned handle and I like boar brushes, but the Yorkshire bit of me has some questions:
