shaving scuttle

Do you still use yours?I just wanna get some ideas since I've put an order in,for instance if you have a number of soaps,do you take them out of their plasic case,put them in your scuttle and put them back after use?any techniques and ideas are very much appreciated :?

James use a scutttle as you would a bowl. Plop your cream in and swirl away. Or swirl on your puck in it's own comtainer and when loaded continue to build the lather in the scuttle. The scuttle is just a bowl that is able to keep your lather warm. Enjoy!

Would there be any use for scuttle if I want to continue face lathering?

You could face lather and then place the shaving brush in the scuttle to keep the lather remaining in the brush warm for subsequent passes.

For keeping the brush warm between passes when face lathering it is still good. I face lathered this morning and used the scuttle, just before putting brush to face for each pass, i would add an extra swirl around the scuttle to re-warm the hairs, rather than lots of swirls to build lather.
