On that handle I would say 24mm is your sweet spot. No degree of translucency with the coral, I personally think it would look good with the 173 but personally I prefer a colour which is slightly translucent such as the brown-beige with the 173 all personal opinions.

Happy with the 26mm choice, only thing that concerns me is the pattern on the coral and how pinky it might be, haven't seen a great photo that shows it off yet.

52+ definitely to floppy for my taste, I enjoy my 24mm knot with 50mm loft currently but after something a bit stiffer.

I may end up just going for plain ivory at this rate, it's worse then trying to pick at a restraunt.

Oh! that aquamarine pink coral handle is indeed, very, very pink. A bit reddy for little girls to love, but very pink!

I like the 177 model in ivory imitation or black, but I think that in ivory imitation the contrast with the two band silvertip knot is more beautiful.

I'm now thinking of a 26 do1 Silvertip or do1 2 band

Should I go 50 loft or 52. I know the hair is denser but I want good back bone and not a floppy knot

Just to share I was finally able to make a decision.

Blue 26X48 in two band silver tip.

First lather with it tonight. Wow. Pleased with my choice would be an understatement.
