Gibellini Ice AS (with added menthol crystals)
The Yuma is a cheap (I think I paid £3.00 with a small blade sampler for it) very aggressive razor (think Fatboy/Slim dialled up) weighs next to nothing and looks like a Merkur 1904, coupled with the Gillette gave me a DFS, a truly refreshing shave today.

First shave with a straight, not bad, only managed one WTG cheeks and neck.
Really cannot understand how the R89 works; too tight and it cannot shave at all, unscrewing it a bit makes it uncontrollable in direction (cut myself in three points), back to the trusty Futur @ 2 1/2 for the final passes...

Had a bit of trouble achieving a decent lather with the Palmolive, I suppose that there has to be a first time for everything; humph!!
As to the outcome? Great, as usual with this combination. As good as the DE89L is, this R41 combo is on an altogether higher level for me.

WTG, XTG + Touch Up and just at the touch up the Feather started to tug on the few stray hairs left so I think 4 is the max for me. First time using Tabac in over a month and the lather was sublime. I'm starting to wonder if alum (I know it works but) irritates me slightly so I'm going to leave it out next shave to see the result. Overall.... very nice indeed.
Update: I've got a half inch cut behing my right ear! How the hell did that happen?!? :lol:
