Another aborted attempt with the Rolls razor which I thought I'd honed up & stropped enough. Still unable to cut anything, so it was back to the hot-knife-through-butter kit:

Friday night (an' I was feelin' alright):

- Pre-shave: Somerset's Original shave oil
- crisp, clear, cold water by the faceful & sinkful ... rinses & dunks, eh wot
- Merkur 39C longslant, slotted-up with Gillette Super Thin
- Omega 48 Pro with Nanny's Lavender (new recipe)
- alummmm
- Thayer's Witch Hazel: Rose
- Simple for Men Cooling ASB

First use of the longslant and an aggressive blade since going back to Go and not collecting £200. Close shave with little-to-no painful irritation stuff.
