Shave of the day Saturday 9th Sept - Friday 15th Sept 2017

Strange, but I never got on with my 1914. A rough shave, despite trying all the angles and shimming. It never compared to my 1912 variants or my 1924s. Still, mileage and all that. They do look cracking bits of kit and I'm delighted they work for others :).
I've only used NOS Corrux blades in mine so maybe that's where the difference is, I shall have to try it with a modern blade and see how it goes. :)

Definitely a case of ymmv, my three favourites of the family are, the 1912 (first love), Dammo and 1914.

Razor: Alumigoose w/ iKon Bamboo Handle
Blade: KAI Captain Titan (3)
Brush: DFS LE Nathan Clark Envy White Handle Aluminum Color, Anodized Dark Bronze. #41/150
Soap: Reef Point Soap Admiralty
A/S: Lucky Tiger, Old Spice
Decanter: Old Spice Ship's Lantern 1981-1984 ID #3632
Bowl: Symmetrical Pottery Starry Night Dottie

Is it the brush, is it the soap, or is it the bowl? Hard to say, but all 3 work very well together to produce an excellent lather. Three passes with a minor touch up for a very near BBS.
The iKon handle is a great little handle.

Yeah, the Damaskeene is nice. For me, in order: Streamline, standard 1912 (England) and 1924 (U.S.).
The Streamline, took me a while, a bit like the track on an album you don't like, and then it becomes your favourite.
Not my favourite but joint fourth with the 1924 and MMOC.
Aesthetically it's the FHT and Push Button, pity they're not great shavers.

Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Gillette Platinum (1)
Brush: WW 'Bishop'
Soap: Grooming Dept. Yuzu
Post: Nothing required when using GD's soaps
Awesome shave; first time using the Tech and it was oh so mild, not sure if I like it. I will have to give it a few more tries with different blades to see.

@groomingdept makes some of the best soaps out there and he is constantly working on getting some very complex scents out as well.

I enjoyed the Yuzu; scent strength was a 7 out of 10 and it gets even stronger while lathered. My face did have a bit of a tingle while using the soap so I will have to move it on. I still have Aether and Voyage to test out next so there are no tears :)
