As I've said elsewhere, I recently tried a sample of Alt Innsbruck from Paul.
I was particularly impressed with the sample bottle. I received what is effectively a tiny aerosol. Excellent! Much better than the 'dibber' things. I wonder - do all Paul's samples come packaged like that? It occurs to me to try and clean it out, somehow, afterwards, and use the bottle for one of my preferred colognes, to carry around in my briefcase. Anyone tried cleaning one of these out, to remove traces of previous contents? Anyone know where we might buy some of these bottles, so we could have our own decant club, perhaps sharing colognes etc that Paul doesn't actually stock? Maybe Paul sells these himself?
 
The samples I've had come in small 10 ml glass bottles with aluminium screw caps but that was aftershave samples and not cologne samples.
 
there's Original Sport and Ice Sport

on first sniff Ice Sport is slightly like an Escape or Eternity type with a bit of Cool Water in the mix :?

the Original Sport smells like a forest fresh air freshener, i won't be getting any more of that

Ice Sport also available as a gel\balm

Paul i've had some samples in the past and intend to get more - the bottles are very handy for travel and a spray attachment would be popular i think

...as a slight Ps is there any merit for you in having people recycle the bottles back to you for re-use? just a thought really but i'm sure people would be prepared to
 
It's best to recycle them really, both parts can be recycled. With the cost of postage it's not really worth it.

I am waiting on some splash / shaker plugs for the samples which should make them much easier to use. I just hope they fit properly :roll:

Ooh, Paul, let us know as and when they come in! They would be great! I just wish all usual AS bottles came with them. (My Tabac does, but no others seem to!)

So is it the Classic one you like Hando? where did you get them from? I can see Paul has samples on closeshave but I cannot see it listed on his site unless....I am missing it.l
 
It's ebay or the dutch shaving shop for AV I reckon.

Or you could try trading.

I managed to get 500ml (2x200ml plus 1x100ml) in trades with American posters on another forum for few Palmolive sticks.

The Dutch Shaving Shop but they only seem to have the Ice Sport at the moment

the bottom one is the one your after, but i have all 3 and really like the Musk as well
