Prep: Shower
Razor: L'Essor
Blade: Rapide (Ernst Scharff?)
Brush: RazoRock Plisson
Soap: Tabac Stick Grated
Aftershave: Astral Cream (soft)
EDT: Miller Harris Le Fumee
I have been away for a few days and shaved every day with my Ernst Scharff Rapide with this blade, I had absolutely wonderfully close shaves with no collateral damage but I find the razor so unnecessarily aggressive and the face feel is not comfortable. To confirm it was the razor and not the blade, today I used this same blade in the L'Essor and the result:- just as smooth a shave and it felt comfortable and 'kind' on my skin proving these original Rapides are damned fierce razors, my Henckles Rapide is much more comfortable.
RazoRock Plissoft 22mm
Vitos Red croap
Schick Dial Adjuster
Schick NOS Twin [ 9 ]
Alum Rub/Rinse Off
Tuff Green A/S lotion
The Shave was smooth and easy, but the closeness of finish showed that for me that the blade had peaked. To make matters worse , having been thinking that the bonus of injectors is the fact that you do not cut yourself , well somehow
I did [ trying too hard under the chin] , now where is that styptic pencil ?
King Pelican 13/16 full hollow
Strop Invisible Edge Super leather
Shavemac Silvertip two band
Soap Razorrock Tuscan Oud
Propolis & raw virgin coconut oil
Tom Ford Oud wood Edp
A very enjoyable shave this morning with the Schick Adj. loaded with a Twin blade. Easy slick, rich, lovely scented lather from the IB Amici shave soap. Three silky smooth passes and I am dolphin smooth and refreshed. Have a great day friends.
Here goes.
