Nice one RobEvening all,
Haven't used a Straight Razor for a while. My mind hasn't been focused enough to use one.
I just acquired a Micheal Waterhouse from another member so it seemed the perfect time to get back in the saddle.
The razor was great to handle and the first pass on the cheeks was very smooth and close.
I managed to do a full pass without incident. No where never perfect but I was very happy seen as I hadn't pick a SR for 6 weeks or so.
The soap performed well. My plan is to stick with Eufros soaps until the end of the month, so I can dial them in.
The scent was OK. Before I lathered it I was sure I'd like it but it improved and I think the scent will grow on me. Again, a very natural smell.
The Saponifico Varesino brush...well what can I say. I love it.
The Gillette 7 o'clock yellow worked well with the ATT R2.
I used witch hazel and Myrsol emulsion for the post and I'm left with a great face feel.
I finished off with L'Oreal pure and matte moisturising gel. I've used it a few times now and I highly recommend you check it out. Absorbs quickly and isn't sticky.
