I had an urge to use a cream this morning. I'm not entirely sure why! Either way, it was a lovely and measured shave. This brush is easily the best I've used. Another 49125 in plexi, but in two band, would quite possibly be my BAD killer.

Brilliant shave - the left side of my neck has never been so smooth! I shaved on sunday afternoon and could still smell the pashana today at work. Marvelous
I'm intrigued by those Super Thin blades and always thought they'd make perfect partners with a Tech, just off the description and intuition. Seems they are ...

eau de brut AS
excellent. used the eau de brut tonight, the first time in ages, and id forgotten how nice it is. if anyone is looking for a cheap and cheerful AS they would do a lot worse than trying this. im not a big fan of brut, but eau de brut is a lot lighter and smells lovely.
Really surprising result with the Lidor Classic and Astor blade. Great comfortable shave, blade is very smooth and the cream whisks up a treat.
Love it!
Pre: G'Day Mate Lime face wash
Soap: Palmolive stick
Brush: Simpsons Pure Badger
Razor: Merkur 15c
Blade: Astra SP (1)
Post: Cold rinse, alum and WH
A/S: Blue Stratos
Balm: T&H No. 10
Haven't used the Palmolive, BS or Astras for ages so decided to get them out tonight. BBS but felt rough. The BS felt like the fires of hell on my face, like VIBR, which it never normally does. Think it was a poor razor/blade combo. I sing the praises of the Merkur OC but only with the right blade.
Very kindly, UKRob leant me a couple of razors: an Every Ready Streamline and his custom-made Kamisori-style cut down razor.
Well, I could not resist ...

I'm not a straight edge shaver. I have used a straight edge a couple of times and each time, my heart was in my mouth the whole time, breath held, eyes wide open, the fear factor giving me hyper-awareness.
Not with this razor. It felt so right. I just slicked and sliced around my face and thoroughly enjoyed it. I intended just a scrape down the sides and cheeks, but it was going so well I carried on and have a huge smile now ... not a razor smile, just a huge, happy smile.
