3 passes for a great BBS shave
From a beautiful mild day yesterday....to sub zero conditions in the Brecon Beacons. Don't feel much like going to work but needs must....I have to have some way to feed my addiction

Did you have the old Supply SE Razor? Is the new one much better?

Hi yes, much better in terms of efficiency.

The ** plate on the v2.0 with the personna gave a BBS in 3 passes. The same set up on the v1.0 for me was no where close to that - 4 passes and touch ups required.

To get BBS with the v1.0 on plate ** I used the proline.

With the v1.0 on the first pass I was never sure that the blade was shaving. With v2.0 more audible feedback and sone blade feel.

I had a 2 pass shave this morning with the Supply-SE v2.0, personna blade on day 3, and I'm DFS +. No time for a third pass, unfortunately.

I think v2.0 will be a classic - very efficient and robust razor. As always YNMV.

If you like v1.0 the I think you will love v2.0.

All the best,

Chris

Razor: Barbaros TR2
Blade: GSB (2)
Brush: Wolf Whiskers Bishop
Soap: Barrister's Reserve Lavender
Post: Thayers' Witch Hazel Lemon
EdT: Caldey Island Lavender

Beautiful shave and I love the Reserve Lavender, such a great scent! Went back to my TR2 after using the SS Mamba last week; the TR2 is much more efficient and I was torn between the two until today. Have a great week everyone!

Date: 30 October 2017 "SOTN"

Pre: - Cold Water straight from the tap
Brush: - Yaqi Sagrada Familia Tuxedo Synth. 24/53mm knot
Lather: - Route 66 ~ Barbershop Hop
Bowl: - Captain's Choice
Razor: - Colonial Razors ~ General SS
Blade: - Feather Artist Club Professional #10
Post: - Speick Aftershave Lotion / Bulldog Original Moisturiser

WOW!! God I've missed Speick Aftershave Lotion the light blue/red label gave me a very quick sharp burn feeling for about 10 second after my shave, I'm still loving my SS General follow by Route 66 ~ Barbershop Hop shaving soap with lanolin which is a light, clean, slightly sharp powdery barbershop scent very slick and very thick lather.

The R41 with a new feather blade mowed down 2.5 days growth with ease and left a flawless BBS shave.

The T+S Morocco is very smoky, with a hint of floral. Definitely a soap to 'experience' during the shave. Peformance is top notch, excellent slickness, cushion and outstanding post shave. One of my best performing soaps.

The shavemac 2 band silvertip (extra dense) was a pleasure to use. I prefer a bit of a scrub from a brush now, but even though this brush offers excellent backbone with cloud soft plush face feel - I really enjoyed using it.

A outstanding shave all around.
