Leon Paul lightweight lamé, too, eh Paul :D

It's not cheating, but the material is so fine that sometimes, just sometimes points skim off ...

I figured you'd be the only one who would have any idea what it was. Yeah - thank god the points are apt to slip a bit ;-)

Nuage Shaving Oil, with menthol
Nivea originals cream
Vulfix 28 Pure Boar Bristle
Gillette FT Rocket
Rapira SSS (2)
Alum block
Witch Hazel
Nivea sensitive balm
Hugo Boss, Hugo EDT

What a superb shave.
After that menthol kick from the Nuage, am looking for further fixes.
Any recommendations ?

SUNDAY EVENING

Razor: Mongoose polished head with UFO Godzilla handle
Blade: Feather Professional Super
Brush: Frank Shaving Purtech
Soap: Professor Blighty watermelon
AS: Hai Karate
Balm: Zirh Soothe

Must be onto twenty-odd shaves with this blade now and it's still whisker-whacking like a good un.

Used up the last drop of my Hai Karate tonight. What a bargain this AS is! I have plenty of bottles of other stuff to use up but I will definitely buy it again.

Tonight's shave deserves a word picture, so I can fix the moment.

I drove back from Stevenage to Derbyshire this afternoon and although the drive was mostly pleasant there were a few too many bad eggs on the M1 to really enjoy it.

So having nodded off in my chair watching Carry On Follow that Camel, I decided to have a shower, shave and then a proper sleep.

I fancied a luxurious, comforting shave so dug out my Rocket HD; I have a real thing about this lovely, simple razor. I did however need to remove the Feather blade in it and replace it with a more forgiving Rapira Swedish Supersteel.

To complement it I chose the TOBS sandalwood soap and face lathered up a rich, deeply scented meringue of soap. I always use my bodyshop synthetic these days because it never lets me down.

One WTG, one XTG and then an ATG and touch up and I ended up with a very clean face.

A spritz of Benjamin's Bay Rum was closely followed by a protective coating of Nivea ASB.

A lovely gentle way to end the evening.

'Night all.

Prep: Shower
Razor: Schick J1 Injector
Blade: Personna Stainless Coated
Brush: Semogue Mistura
Soap: Nanny's Arabian Nights
Aftershave: Astral Cream (light)
EDT: Cerruti 1881

This is my second of third use of this soap made by Sharon and I am very impressed indeed with ease of lathering (my water is very hard) and performance in general and the scent, a really nice soap that works!

Regards
Dick.
