NICE.

You know what is funny - I was looking at those bowls the other morning but decided on another Etsy potter, but then as I was considering it, the one I wanted sold. Forunately, I had written to the owner asking for a particular colour and so hopefully it will be on and off her wheel soon.

She does some nice bowls, relatively cheap too. Only complaint is the packaging, a huge box and millions of packing peanuts. She knows how to package a parcel!

Mastro Livi Club Razor 2016: Stellar CarboInox Shave!

Mastro Livi Club Razor 2016 is a stellar shaver and CarboInox is an awesome steel for making straight razors. After having shaved with the horrendously damaged Club Razor 2016 Mastro Livi perfectly reground and brought back to a worth life (those who wants to know more about this story can watch the video available on Mastro Livi Website) I wanted to shave with the original Club Razor 2016 in order to make a comparison between the two. The original Club Razor 2016 has a full hollow for hard beard and certainly is less singing than the reground razor which now has an extra full hollow ground. They both give a super smooth shave and it is evident the reground razor has a more aggressive feel, however providing an impeccable shave. The steel obviously is the same - same batch, very same processing - just a different grinding. I am glad, of course, I own both the original Club Razor 2016 (stellar CarboInox shaver!) as well as the restored and reground blade for which Mastro Livi made a miracle in restoring it. For this shave I used a very old shaving soap: as it was a special occasion, I used the very little chunk I have of Elberel Figaro P.160 Tipo Duro (Hard Type) and, despite it is now more than twenty years old, it still proves to be an excellent soap. Fragrance is gone, of course, but the legendary P.160 quality is still there.

Thanks man - checked it out. Two band or three - what do you think? I'm undecided. I'm may well buy one tonight - but which one? Anybody else want to chip in? I.

@Digimonkey. Sorry for the late response. I was waylaid by the Foo fighters at Glastonbury.

I bought the 30mm Finest second hand from another member a while ago. I've since sold it on. Nothing wrong with it, it was just too big for me.
The general consensus is the Finest is the one to go for. I do however know someone who swears by the Silvertip. It all depends on what you're looking for. Backbone or softness of tips?

I don't think you will go far wrong with either. If you don't like it you'll easily sell it on or buy a different one as they are relatively cheap.

Put it this way. I'm tempted to go for a 24mm soon. Haven't decided on hair type or handle yet though.
I like the look of these...
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322290822931
