Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Cussons Imperial Leather: Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel .

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits~Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Erasmic Bristle.

Bowl Lather.

Cream: Palmolive 'Classic' Cream.

Blade: Voskhod. (1)

Razor: Parker 65R.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Peppermint Oil & Witch Hazel Mixture/4711~ Cologne A/S.

Nivea Men~ Cooling Post Shave Balm.

My 65R/Voskhod paired up superbly resulting in a efficient 3 pass+ pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

The tube of Palmolive 'Classic' Shave Cream has lasted me well over a year, and it's finally closely nearly done i've got maybe another 2-3 shaves left and its finished..Not to worry though, i've another tube at hand.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.

Today has to one of my most satisfying shaves.....ever!
3 pass BBS. First time using the brush. Only a little bit of spring compared to some of my other synthetics and it holds masses of lather.
I hope my day continues in a similar vein....although I very much doubt it!

Scent....Creed Sublime Vanille (Mr Perfume)

Another lovely shave with the Gem, the soap for the ladies from Klar has a fantastic scent and I don't see why they should have it just for themselves! :) My usual application of BBA psb followed by a dab or three of the sublime perfume oil.

Tuesday shave.

Two days' growth and warm shave

Preparation – showered with face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: Prorosa white pre-share
Soap: TOBS – Sandalwood cream
Razor: Merkur 34c
Blade: Shark (1st)
Brush: RazoRock 400 Noir

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, Alum, cold rinse, followed by Proraso aftershave lotion (red) and Nivea 2 Phase

I needed a close shave today so changed back to the Shark blade – heavenly. The Razorock 400 whip up the creamiest lather I have made to date – more than enough with the usual amount I use and TOBS is (at the moment) becoming my favourite.

I decided to change my routine to see if that would help my neck irritation. So I showered before I shaved – first time ever and I added more Proraso pre-shave before my second pass and . . . Stone me, when I rubbed the Alum on for a weeper on the neck – no molten lava like burn – it was smooth and only tingled on the weeper. So, now I need to determine whether this was due too:

1. Showering first
2. Adding more pre-shave
3. Having more growth (I hope not or ruined shirts)
4. A combination of 1, 2 and / or 3

More experimenting to do :)

well I decided to use another sample today I went with portus cale black edition but I couldn't get it to lather was just like the geo f trumper eucris soap foam & bubbles :mad: I even tried a different brush with no joy its crap glad I only got the sample and not the full tub , so after washing my face the brush & the bowl I started again with Czech & Speake No.88 which is excellent soap and definitely on my list to buy - I had a great 3 pass shave - have a good day geezers :D
