Result: left handed, but perfectly acceptable 2 pass shave. In fact, I'd be as brave to suggest the left side is smoother !!!! ( I'm right handed )
 
SATURDAY MORNING

Prep: Aleppo soap face wash
Cream: GFT Coconut - bowl lathered
Brush: Semogue OC 2012 LE
Razor: Joseph Allen 5/8, Feather AC kamisori
Post: Witch hazel, Proraso balm
EDT: Caron Pour Un Homme De Caron

WTG and XTG with the straight and an ATG finish with the Feather.

A couple of minor weepers but a super-smooth finish.

My wife commented favourably on the Caron EDT too (said she could scent the vanilla) so all is well.

Astra lost a bit of sharpness by the end of its 3rd shave, but overall not a bad result.

A Bay Rum day today. Loaded a fresh GSB into the ATT-M2 and whipped up a thick aromatic lather. Easy 2-pass BBS.

Razor: Weber polished, Bulldog
Blade: Lab Blue
Soap: Stirling Black Cherry
Brush: Semogue 620

2 passes and very nice. Didn't get the best lather out of the Stirling, was more creamy but still provided a good shave.

A top notch shave.

I'm currently thinking about a black chrome re-plate for this head.

Really nice BBS shave, getting to grips with the Mergress now, perfect with the Lab Blue loaded up, the Neep brush is outstanding along with the exceptional Speick products.
 
This evening had two new items to the rotation, I traded my OSS base plate for a standard and the brush was new to me too.

I've run out of post shave balm. Well, not completely. I'm waiting for the shave stick to run out before opening another tube of post shave balm which I intend to use with its matching shaving cream. So a few more days to go beforehand.

I've used the Merkur 25c top plate instead of the EJ plate, but still used the EJ closed comb and Chatsworth barley handle. The razor feels better somehow, slightly heavier and balanced slightly more towards the head.
