S.O.T.D. Saturday 18th March to Friday 24th March 2017

Brush: Omega 11126
Razor: Gibbs Adjustable No 17 w/ Polsilver SI (1)
Soap: Tabula Rasa Steam Punk
Post: Tabula Rasa Steam Punk Post Shave Gel

That was an unexpected hit of alcohol post shave, made me jump! What a beautiful scent and fantastic, creamy lather. It's classed as a soap but it is so soft, more like a cream, Cella seems triple milled by comparison. Polsilver reigns supreme in the Gibbs, feels much more comfortable with a Polsilver.

Prep: Hot shower with L'Oreal charcoal face wash
Razor: Colonial General SE head with ATT Kronos handle
Razor blade: Feather Pro (3)
Brush: Elite Razors
Bowl: Little Wren Pottery
Soap: D.R. Harris Arlington
Post: Thayers witch hazel, alum block and Myrsol Emulsion

Third shave with the General and another good shave. I tried a heavier handle but I don't think it made much if any difference. I prefer the original handle.
I did have one weeper and had to use the alum block.

Cheers
Rob

20th March

A late night shave for me usually involves relaxing, lavender scents and the Saponificio Bignoli croaps have been at the top of my rotation recently. They whip up into a thick, dense and protective lather with great slickness and I easily achieved a damn fine shave in two passes. A quick splash of Pour Un Homme in the aftershave format and I am smooth as a baby dolphin, refreshed & relaxed. A perfect Sunday night shave.

SOTD Monday 20th March

Razor..Southern- Richardson "The Swiftsure" 6/8ths
Soap..Meissner and Tremonia "Strong N Scottish"
Brush..Shavemac two band D01
Post...Thayers lavender
A/S Tabac

Pratice makes perfect and I'm getting better at it!

The "Swiftsure" made short work of my stubble gliding through like a hot knife through butter singing as she did it!
The heady scent of whisky and burnt oak filled the bathroom.....wonderful soap.
A great shave without any nicks, just some sting from the Tabac.

Have a wonderful day, spring is here!
