Used my newly acquired Wickham soap today. Found it a little difficult to load straight from the tub as its consistency is more like a thick cream. Scooped some into my bowl and was rewarded with rich and slick lather. Southsea Spray = nice, fresh aquatic scent.

Great shave! I'm loving these Reef Point soaps, so slick! It's been a while since I used my "Black Beauty", I've forgotten how smooth a shaver it is.

The Veg
Blade a bit rough on three days growth. Should've used a fresh blade really! Decanted The Veg this week into a glass bottle and whether it's the glass bottle, exposure to air or the placebo effect it smells even better. I love it anyway but it's lost those first few minutes of bitterness.

Broke my own rules, first time (I think) with Wickhams AND Shark blade.
Wickhams was loaned to me by SM304 (as was the Thater), on arrival it was ultra soft and gloopy. Left lid off at room temp for 24 hours and it firmed up to Cella consistency...
Loaded the brush from the tub, oodles of lather, a faint scent (my nose is buggered though) and enough for 4 passes easily.
Shark blade felt a little rough to me, especially surprising as it was new. Wickhams left my face feeling soft (similar to MWF) and although the blade was not convincing, 3 passes with a jaw line touch up left me BBS. I will be using Wickhams a lot more over the coming weeks, ordered a "few" today!
