Greetings

Friday 21st December 2012
Prep: Shower
Razor: Ever Ready Streamline
Blade: GEM Stainless Coated
Brush: Vulfix 404 Mixed
Soap: Palmolive grated into a container
Aftershave: Dove Sensitive Balm

I feel this morning I made a bit of progress with the Streamline, I used an extra light touch and actually got a close shave without any tenderness, I don't think I have 'cracked it' yet but I may be on the way. I find it all very weird that I can just pick up any of my other SE's and just shave with them without giving it very much thought, but with the Streamline I have to work at it.

I believe they are just an unforgiving razor, not in the sense that they 'bite' you but they are (IMHO) very angle critical and seem to need a delicate touch. I don't have a problem with the angle but I don't have the lightest touch!

Regards
Dick.

Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow (1)
Brush: Neep 26mm Extra Silvertip
Soap: VITOS Super Extra Coconut
After: Proraso Post Cream
A/S: Speick Aftershave Lotion

a cold water 2 pass shave as normal

The Razor and Aftershave were both new and unknowns for me going into this shave. I would recommend both!

- The razor is awesome at mowing down a weeks worth of whiskers! almost as if they weren't there.

- The aftershave is also very nice, i've not used balms for a while and moved to lotions, i normally use Proraso Aftershave Lotion. I think i will now rotate between that and the Speick lotion, both very nice.
