Restoration Recomendations please

Hello TSR members!!!

Need some help guys

I want to get my Vintage Gillette DE razor restored to it's original condition but Dave from Restored Razors isn't taking any more work on until further notice

Is there anybody else that is recomended?

Hi, Did you get any recommendations? I need a DE re-plated as well.

I'm going to copy/paste a reply I made to another thread yesterday:

"There are some in the states, but I've never used them and therefore can't "recommend" them as such.

Look up "Razor Emporium", "West Coast Razors", "Krona Kruiser" and there's another one that I can't quite remember now. I think that Razor Emporium has had some bad press in the past, but I really can't remember if it's the same crowd (so do some homework!).

There are some recent threads here where members have used some general replaters to get work done - a place called "prestige", I think - have a look for those.

I've only ever used Dave at Restored Razors and he really did do fantastic work."
