I'm buying a 1961 adjustable FB that is in good working condition but shows some signs of wear. it's nickel plate and brass, as far as I know.
Can anyone advise on what the pros and cons of re-plating this would be?
Worth doing?
Should it be re-plated with the same materials or something like chrome?
Would it affect the mechanisms/operation, etc?
Clearly I know nothing about this subject, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
